Council staff donate for MFR Mission Christmas

photoThis year, The Highland Council has been supporting the MFR cash for kids, ‘Mission Christmas’ appeal.

Moray Firth Radio has invited the public and businesses alike, to donate toys or cash for children who are at risk of waking up to nothing on Christmas morning.

Highland Council staff have generously donated a fantastic amount of toys. Inverness Headquarters, Alexander Ross House in Lochaber and the North Area have all taken part in this year’s Mission Christmas.

The Depute Leader of the Highland Council, Councillor Alasdair Christie said: “The Council has been delighted to support this very worthy cause and staff have really rallied to ensure disadvantaged children have an extra special Christmas. I would like to thank them for their generosity.”
