Easter Ross Community Partnership Meeting

  • Easter Ross Community Partnership Meeting
  • Wednesday 13th February 2019 at 7pm
  • Perrins Centre, Alness

The Easter Ross Community Partnership (ERCP) will meet in the Perrins Centre in Alness on Wednesday February 13th 2019 at 7 pm.

Light refreshments will be available from 1845

The partnership has been holding its open meetings across the area for the last two years and has decided to do things a little differently in 2019. Ricky Dibble, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and the Partnership’s Chair, explains

“The partnership has a clear focus on tackling inequalities, and from its early days identified 5 Localities on where to focus, namely – Seaboard, Alness, Invergordon, Tain and Milton. It also decided to engage with these communities in that order, to listen carefully and produce Locality Plans”

He carries on

“It has been really important that we visited each area, and have enjoyed many positive community meetings. For 2019 we will hold the 4 planned public meetings – details at the bottom - in the communities where our next two Locality Plans will be created: Alness and Invergordon.

But I stress that they are open to all, and we want to invite everyone who lives and works in Easter Ross to all of our meetings”

At the meeting on February 13th, there will be further updates on the plans for Children’s Services and for Adults, hopefully a presentation of the finalised version of the Seaboard Locality Plan, the launch of the online survey for Alness, news on a Partnership logo and an introduction to a new member of the team.

Ricky says

“James Turner has recently been successfully appointed to the post of Community Engagement Officer, a role that will support the Easter and Mid Ross community partnerships in their dialogue with communities and the production and roll out of the various plans, especially the Locality Plans. We look forward to James’ input and help.

And we are looking forward to meeting with as many Easter Ross inhabitants as can make it to The Perrins Centre”
