Anyone thinking of a career change and becoming a Primary or Secondary school teacher is being invited by The Highland Council to an information session to find out how you can become one of the next generation of teachers in Highland.

The information event takes place on Saturday 9th March 2019, at Doorways, Central Primary School, Kenneth Street, Inverness, IV3 5DW from 11am – 1pm.

Aileen Mackay, Head Teacher of Smithton Primary in Inverness will provide a welcome and she will introduce partner representatives from the University of Highlands and Islands, University of Dundee; and University of Aberdeen.

Councillor John Finlayson, Chair of The Highland Council’s Care, Learning and Housing Committee said: “This is great opportunity for anyone who has been mulling over the idea of teaching for some time and has never taken the step to find out if it could be for them. Or if you simply want more out of life and are looking for a career change, go along to the information event and find out more.”
