Inverness West Councillors and locals make a difference in #springclean19

Over twenty members of the public joined Inverness West Ward Members Councillors Bill Boyd, Alex Graham and Graham Ross on a ‘Keep Inverness West Beautiful’ clean up last evening Monday 29 April.

The series of local clean-up events continues throughout each evening this week from 6.45pm – 8.45pm till Thursday 2nd May 2019.

People are invited to take part in the Keep Scotland Beautiful Big Spring Clean, which asks volunteers of all ages to make sure their local area looks better than ever.

Each litter pick will last for 2 hours from 6.45pm – 8.45pm and full litter picking kit (bags, pickers, gloves are supplied.  Light refreshments are available at the end of each event.

  • Tuesday 30th April – covering Muirtown / Scorguie – meeting at Sea Scout Hut car park, Clachnaharry Road.
  • Wednesday 1st May – covering Ballifeary – meeting at the Bught Stop, Torvean Avenue.
  • Thursday 2nd May – covering Dalneigh – meeting at the James Cameron Centre, Limetree Avenue
