ICP full partnership meeting takes place next week

The full partnership meeting of Inverness Community Partnership (ICP) will take place on Wednesday 5 June 2019 in Merkinch where progress updates will be shared with attendees.

The ICP has been set up to allow key public bodies, agencies, third sector organisations and community groups the opportunity to work together to plan for, resource and provide services which improve the local outcomes in a way that will help to reduce inequalities in key areas across the City.

The Community Partnership members aim to achieve this through the development of a Children’s Plan, an Adult’s Plan and Locality Plans.

In addition, Inverness Community Partnership has agreed a Communications Plan for the partnership area that will ensure the local communities are engaged and kept fully informed as to the aims, objectives and outcomes delivered by the partnership members.

People feel better when they have ownership and can influence what happens in their local communities. For this reason, individuals, groups and organisations will be encouraged to participate and contribute to the Inverness Community Partnership decision making processes – whether this be by attending regular meetings; participating in surveys or making representation to group members.

The ICP full partnership meeting will take place on Wednesday 5 June 2019, 4pm – 6pm, at Merkinch Community Centre, Coronation Park, Inverness IV3 8AD.
