Introduction of Dynamic Purchasing System for future transport procurement

In Spring 2020 the Council intends to introduce a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for any new procurements of public and school transport contracts. This will be advertised for expressions of interest in January.

The Council’s Transport and Procurement units are holding a series of seminars to explain the process to existing and potential suppliers. These seminars will also include consultation on changes to our Conditions of Contract.

Operators and potential operators are encouraged to come to these seminars so that we can hear your views and answer your questions.

Portree - 27 November 2019 at 11:00am - Portree Council Chambers, Tigh-na-Sgire, Park Lane, IV51 9GP

Fort William - 28 November 2019 at 11:00am - Charles Kennedy Building, Achintore Rd, PH33 6TZ

Wick - 29 November 2019 at 11:00am - Wick Council Chambers Caithness House, Market Square, KW1 4AB

Inverness - 10 December 2019 at 11:00am - Inverness Town House, Castle Street, IV1 1JJ

Seminars will last at most three hours.
