Highland Council service arrangements for Christmas and New Year
The Highland Council notifies its service users and customers of its opening hours and service arrangements over the festive period.
The Highland Council Service Centre will close at 4pm on 24 December 2019.
Over the holiday period, the Service Centre will be open on:
- Tuesday 24 December 8am - 4pm
- Friday 27 December 10am - 4pm
- Monday 30 December 10am - 4pm
- Tuesday 31 December 10am - 4pm
It reopens with usual business hours on Friday 3 January 2020
Service Points will be on reduced opening hours. For further details see the information about each service point at www.highland.gov.uk/servicepoints
Inverness Registration Office will close at 4 pm on 24 December. For advice or information regarding essential registrations in Highland please phone 07818 588 203. We will be open as normal on 27, 30 and 31 December (opening times 9am to 4pm). Closed 1 and 2 January 2019 and open from 3 January 2019.
Recycling
Recycling centres will be closed 25 and 26 December and 1 and 2 January.
Collection dates
- Wednesday 25 December collections will be uplifted on Saturday 21 December
- Thursday 26 December collections as normal
- Wednesday 1 January collections will be uplifted on Saturday 28 December
- Thursday 2 January collections will be uplifted on Saturday 4 January
