Temporary change of address for city Service Point

As restoration works to the Town House progress, Inverness Service Point customers are being advised that the service will temporarily relocate from its base within the historic building.

From 10.30am on Monday 20th January customers will be able to access the Service Point’s full range of services from offices on Upper Bridge Street next to the former Tourist Information Offices.

To minimise any inconvenience to customers, the Council has put arrangements in place to undertake the move over the weekend. This means the Service Point will close at its usual time of 5pm on Friday and from 10.30am on Monday 20th January customers will be able to access the full range of services at the new temporary location.

External signage will be in place to provide full details and anyone with mobility issues can access our Service Point from the Town House reception also from 10.30am onwards on Monday.

A council spokesman said: “This is the third and final stage of restoration works to the A listed Town House building. We have worked hard to ensure any disruption of service is kept to a minimum but due to health and safety and the wellbeing of our staff and customers, we are having to temporarily decant the Service Point for a period of approximately 3 months. However, customers will be able to access all our services from our Upper Bridge Street premises from 10.30am on Monday.”

Customers can also continue to access Highland Council services via the council’s website at www.highland.gov.uk/online or phone the Service Centre for assistance on 01349 886606.
