Tribute paid to former Inverness Councillor

Members and staff of The Highland Council are saddened by the passing of former Highland Councillor Alistair Milne on Friday 27 March 2020.

Alistair made an exceptional contribution to local government, serving on Inverness Town Council (1967-75), Inverness District Council and Highland Regional Council (1974-96), and latterly The Highland Council from 2003  to 2007.

He was a representative for the Ballifeary and Dalneigh areas of Inverness where he lived most of his life.
