Council reminder to communities that the service point network remains closed

Highland Council is reminding communities the service point network remains closed, in line with COVID 19 guidance.

Anyone who wishes to access Council services can do so online, over the telephone or by email.  Although our offices currently remain closed to the public, please be assured that staff are still working and are available to deal with customer enquiries by telephone or email during office hours.

Registration Offices are open to the public for birth registrations and high priority registrations by appointment only and following all current social distancing and hygiene guidance. 


The Council is reminding new parents that  if they have had a baby during March, April or May and  have not yet made arrangements to register the birth of their child it is important that they  make contact with their local registration office urgently.

Babies born during June or onwards, can be registered by making an appointment with your contact your local registration office

Re-opening of Service Points further will be taken with advice from the Scottish Government Covid19 guidance and when this allows for this to happen safely. Activity will be undertaken in a planned and co-ordinated way to ensure a safe working environment for staff and safe access for the public.
