Telford Road and School Lane road closures coming in October - Inverness

Telford Road

Traffic will be temporarily prohibited from using Telford Road, Inverness, between its junction with Telford Street and its junction with Pumpgate Street.

Vehicles will also be prohibited from using Pumpgate Street between its junction with Telford Road and its junction with Lower Kessock Street.

Alternative routes will be available using Telford Street, Carsegate Road, Glendoe Terrace, Wyvis Place, Lower Kessock Street, Grant Street, Lochalsh Road, Dunabban Road, Abban Street and Carse Road.

The prohibitions are required to enable public utility fibre optic installation works to be safely carried out

The traffic order will begin at 8am on Monday 5 October 2020 and remain in force until 6pm on Saturday 31 October 2020.

School Lane

Vehicles will also be prohibited from using School Lane, Inverness, between its junction with Academy Street (B865) and its junction with Church Street (C1182).

A pedestrian diversion will be in place using Church Street, Friars Lane and Academy Street. The prohibition is required to enable public utility works and streetscape works to be safely carried out.

The order will come into effect at 8am on Monday 5 October 2020 and remain in force until 6pm on Thursday 26 November 2020.
