BEAR Northwest Trunk Roads - works in Helmsdale

From 19:00 on 26 October 2020 to 07:00 on 10 November 2020 the following roads will be affected by temporary roads closures for BEAR Northwest Trunk Roads Unit works.

The road closures are necessary to allow BEAR to carry out surfacing works.

• C1148 Link road A9T – A897, Helmsdale, commencing at its junction with the A9 Inverness – Scrabster Trunk Road to its junction with C1046 Gartymore – West Helmsdale Road.
• U2418 Dunrobin Street, Helmsdale, commencing at its junction with the A9 Inverness – Scrabster Trunk Road to its junction with U2423 Dunrobin Street – East Sutherland Street.
• A897 Dunrobin Street, Helmsdale, commencing at its junction with the A9 Inverness – Scrabster Trunk Road to its junction with U2437 Trentham Street.
• U2447 Sutherland Street, Helmsdale, commencing at its junction with the A9 Inverness – Scrabster Trunk Road to its junction with U2437 Trentham Street.
• U2452 Sutherland Street, Helmsdale, from its junction with the A9 Inverness – Scrabster Trunk Road to its termination in a turning head, a distance of 135 metres, or thereby.
• U2442 Strathnaver Street, Helmsdale, from its junction with the A9 Inverness – Scrabster Trunk Road to its junction with the U2437 Trentham Street.
• C1019 Old Caithness Road, Helmsdale from its junction with the A9 Inverness – Scrabster Trunk Road to its junction with the U2432 Lilleshall Street.
• U2408 Glebe Terrace, Helmsdale, from its junction with the A9 Inverness – Scrabster Trunk Road to its junction with the U2398 Simpson Crescent.

Pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles employed to carry out the works and associated traffic management are exempt from the closure.

Alternative routes will be available, and signposted.
