Various roads in Helmsdale to be affected by BEAR Scotland works

Highland Council has been made aware by BEAR Scotland of a number of forthcoming closures which will affect roads in Helmsdale.

Traffic will be temporarily prohibited from using the following roads from 7am on 2 November 2020 to 7am on 10 November 2020:

C1148 Link road A9T – A897, Helmsdale, commencing at its junction with the A9 Inverness – Scrabster Trunk Road to its junction with C1046 Gartymore – West Helmsdale Road.

U2418 Dunrobin Street, Helmsdale, commencing at its junction with the A9 Inverness – Scrabster Trunk Road to its junction with U2423 Dunrobin Street – East Sutherland Street.

A897 Dunrobin Street, Helmsdale, commencing at its junction with the A9 Inverness – Scrabster Trunk Road to its junction with U2437 Trentham Street.

U2447 Sutherland Street, Helmsdale, commencing at its junction with the A9 Inverness – Scrabster Trunk Road to its junction with U2437 Trentham Street.

U2452 Sutherland Street, Helmsdale, from its junction with the A9 Inverness – Scrabster Trunk Road to its termination in a turning head, a distance of 135 metres, or thereby.

U2442 Strathnaver Street, Helmsdale, from its junction with the A9 Inverness – Scrabster Trunk Road to its junction with the U2437 Trentham Street.

C1019 Old Caithness Road, Helmsdale from its junction with the A9 Inverness – Scrabster Trunk Road to its junction with the U2432 Lilleshall Street.

U2408 Glebe Terrace, Helmsdale, from its junction with the A9 Inverness – Scrabster Trunk Road to its junction with the U2398 Simpson Crescent.

The road closures are necessary to allow BEAR to carry out surfacing works.
