Temporary road closure on the C1005 Muir of Balnagowan – Fort George Road

Motorists are being advised by The Highland Council that there will be a temporary road closure on the C1005 Muir of Balnagowan – Fort George Road from 0:00 hours on Saturday 1 May 2021 and will remain in effect until midnight on Thursday 30 September 2021.

The closure is required to help protect the road from damage while facilitating the safe passage of the Contractor’s vehicles and goods vehicles working on behalf of Scottish Water.

Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles attending an emergency and vehicles employed to carry out the works. Cyclists and pedestrians requiring access may do so, but only at the discretion and by the instructions of the Contractor.

Alternative routes will be available for all other traffic affected by this closure.
