UPDATE - We have been advised that the contractors have completed the road crossing on Culloden Road as of last night, which means the closure is no longer required for the remainder of the week. The advance warning signage has been removed.

Motorists are being advised by The Highland Council that there will be a temporary road closure on the B9006 Inshes Roundabout – Culcabock – Castlehill – Culloden Moor – Croy – Gollanfield – Fort George Road, Inverness-shire, between its junction with the private road access leading to Ardtower Caravan Park and its junction with the U2122 Leanach Gardens.

The closure is required to enable a contractor, working on behalf of Scottish Water, to safely carry out pipe laying works which will take place over 5 consecutive evenings to minimise disruption. The works will start today, Monday 10 May 2021 and will remain in effect until Friday 14 May 2021, between 19:00 and 23:59 nightly.

Access will be maintained for pedestrians and alternative routes will be available for all other traffic affected by this closure.
