First post-lockdown Town House event strikes a chord

The first in a series of chamber music concerts my musicinverness will take place on Wednesday 8 September at the Town House, Inverness.

Provost of Inverness and Area Cllr Helen Carmichael said: “On behalf the Members of the City of Inverness Area Committee I am delighted to announce the reopening of the Town House for its first event since the beginning of lockdown.

“Musicinverness (Inverness Chamber Music society) has been awarded Inverness Common Good Funding to present a series of 9 concerts from September 2021 through to April 2022.”

The inaugural event of the programme will commence on Wed 08 September 2021 with a solo piano recital by James Willshire.

A former member of Keyboard Staff at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, James will be playing works by Litolff, Holst and Beethoven.

COVID-19 guidance and safety measures will be in place for all attending the Town House.
