First Ward Forum For Dingwall and Seaforth

The first Ward Forum for The Highland Council electoral ward of Dingwall and Seaforth will take place at the Council Offices, Dingwall at 7.30pm on Tuesday 26 June.

The meeting will be held in public and there will be a 20 minute session at the close of the meeting for the public to ask questions.

The aim of the forum is to provide an effective scrutiny of the way the Council provides services in the Dingwall and Seaforth Ward.  The first meeting will feature a discussion on the structure of the ward forum, set agenda items for future meetings, dates and venues.

The meeting will be attended by the four councillors who serve Dingwall and Seaforth – Councillors Peter Cairns, David Chisholm, Angela MacLean and Margaret Paterson – as well as representatives from community councils and the police.

Providing administration support to the forum will be Liz Cowie, Ward Manager for Dingwall and Seaforth.

There will be at least six meetings of the Ward Forum each year and dates for forthcoming meetings will be considered at the inaugural meeting next Tuesday.
