The EV Rally of Scotland (EVROS) is passing through Highland
The EV Rally Of Scotland (EVROS) is currently making its way through Highland which is a major event featuring 20 electric vehicles (EVs) travelling 1,200 miles.
It began on November 8 and runs until November 12, coincides with COP26 in Glasgow and covers the length and breadth of Scotland.
It aims to show that EVs are not just suitable for short journeys in urban areas but are a fully viable alternative to traditional petrol and diesel vehicles.
Vehicle brands participating in the rally include Polestar, Maxus, Kia, and Stellantis (Citroen, Peugeot, DS, Vauxhall and Fiat).
Members of the public are invited to any of the checkpoints below, where they can meet the participants and drivers, including Edmund King OBE, President of the AA; and record-breaking EV adventurer Chris Ramsey of Plugin Adventures.
The Rally will be stopping off at locations across Highland, including the Fort William, Broadford, Ullapool, Durness, John O’Groats, Inverness and many more in between.
