Wick Community Campus closed due to bad weather conditions

Wick Community Campus will remain closed throughout this weekend and on Monday 29 November due to bad weather conditions caused by Storm Arwen.

The campus includes Newton Park Primary School, Wick High School, and two community facilities. Both school buildings closed earlier today because of the high wind levels in the area. The weather caused some damage to the exterior of Wick High School and repairs will be taking place on Monday.

The Highland Council are working closely with Partners to prepare for the reopening of the campus and an update will be communicated to the local community early next week.

Information on school closures in Highland can be found on the Council website at www.highland.gov.uk/schoolclosures. This page is updated from 7am and cleared by 6pm each evening.
