Extension of closure of B862 Fort Augustus - Torness - Dores - Inverness road

There is to be an extension to the closure of the B862 Fort Augustus - Torness - Dores - Inverness road.

The extension will be in operation from Wednesday 12 January 2022 until Thursday 13 January 2022 and will only apply between 9am and 3.30pm.

The reason for the extension is to allow contractors working on behalf of Highland Council to carry out essential resurfacing works.

Closure of the B862 Fort Augustus - Torness - Dores - Inverness road will commence approximately 580m south-west of its junction with the U1092 Wester Aberchalder Road heading south-westerly for approx 500m.
