The information provided is a summary of reports from operational staff and is intended to give a general indication of typical conditions in each area at a point in time. Road condition reports for Thursday 20 January 2022 are as follows:

Badenoch and Strathspey: Posted at 08:09. Dry roads with localised icy patches being treated as necessary. No known overnight issues.

Nairn: Posted at 08:11. Damp roads, high routes being given precautionary gritting. No known overnight issues.

Caithness: Posted at 08:06. All dry roads with road surface temperatures above zero. No known overnight issues.

Ross and Cromarty East: Posted at 08:13. Road surface temperatures above zero this morning on routes. Mainly dry roads with no action required. No known overnight issues.

Lochaber: Posted at 07:13. Low road surface temperatures. Gritting Primary routes. No known overnight issues.

Sutherland: Posted at 07:25. Dry roads throughout with positive salt levels, patrol on some higher routes as a precaution. No known overnight issues.

Skye and Raasay: Posted at 08:31. South Skye roads temperatures remain positive, North Skye road surface temperature above zero by 04:00. No known overnight issues.

Inverness: Posted at 06:57. Low road temperatures on high ground. Gritting primary and secondary routes. No known overnight issues.
