Road condition reports for Wednesday, 23 February are as follows:

Badenoch and Strathspey: Posted at 08:01 - Some localised icy patches which are being treated as necessary.  Roads now turning wet with heavy rain and strong winds.

Caithness: Posted at 09:01 – Heavy rain and very wet roads, but no winter action required.  No other issues to report.

Inverness: Posted at 06:20 – Roads wet, no problems reported.

Lochaber:  Awaiting update from roads operatives for this area.  The news release on Highland Council’s website will be updated with this information once it is available.

Nairn: Posted at 07:34 - Wet roads, no known issues.

Ross and Cromarty: Posted at 07:17 - Positive temperatures with no winter action required.  However, heavy consistent rain is causing very wet roads with lots of minor flooding.

Skye and Raasay: Posted at 05:50 -  No winter action required.  Positive road surface temperatures throughout area.  No issues reported overnight.

Sutherland: Awaiting update from roads operatives for this area.  The news release on Highland Council’s website will be updated with this information once it is available.

Wester Ross & Lochalsh: Awaiting update from roads operatives for this area.  The news release on Highland Council’s website will be updated with this information once it is available.
