Caol Shopping Centre area works Monday 11th July 2022

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the car park resurfacing at the Caol Shopping Centre area will now take place on Monday 11th July and the road marking will take place on Tuesday 12th July.

Caol Shopping Centre car park will be affected by a partial closure for surfacing and road marking works until Tuesday 12th July at 18:00.

The surrounding junctions will be affected by a partial closure and diversions for road markings on Tuesday 12 July 2022 from 07:00 until 18:00.

Traffic diversions are in place at the following locations:

• Glenloy Street, Fort William

Please note that these works are subject to adverse weather conditions.

The partial closure is required in the interest of public safety to enable Contractors, working on behalf of The Highland Council, to carry out resurfacing works.

Emergency access will be maintained, and consideration has been given to the safety and convenience of alternative routes suitable for the traffic which will be affected by the Caol shopping centre car park resurfacing works.

Traffic on the route may experience a longer travel time and The Highland Council would like to thank those affected for your patience and understanding whilst these essential resurfacing works are carried out.
