Update - Loch Morlich, Glenmore – temporary works

Partner agencies (The Highland Council, Forestry and Land Scotland, and Cairngorms National Park Authority) would like to provide an update for visitors to Glenmore about the works at Loch Morlich side, which remain paused while environmental impact concerns are addressed.

While the next steps are being agreed, an arboriculture report is being commissioned to guide tree protection work, and parking will be prevented along areas of the loch side to prevent further compaction damage and reduce safety concerns.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.  Visitors to Glenmore are reminded to park responsibly and to be mindful of non-motorised users (cyclists, walkers and wheelers), and a warm welcome is extended to all visitors to the Cairngorms National Park.”
