Highland Council winter road condition report for Wednesday 23 November

Road condition reports for Wednesday 23 November are as follows:
Badenoch and Strathspey
Posted 07:39 - Damp and dry roads throughout the area with the odd frost patch. Primary and Secondary routes are being treated and temperatures are rising. No known overnight issues.
Caithness
Posted 08:27 – The B874 Lochshell Watten road has now re-opened after flooding. A mix of damp and dry roads with frosty patches all over routes. Primary and Secondary routes all being treated. Temperatures are starting to rise.
Inverness
Posted 06:04 – There is a patchy grey frost on roads and gritters are out treating routes.
Lochaber
Posted 06:54 – There are positive road surface temperatures throughout the area. Roads are wet but no winter action is required.
Nairn
Posted 07:37 - Damp and dry roads throughout the area with the odd frost patch. Primary and Secondary routes being treated. Temperatures are rising. No known overnight issues.
Ross and Cromarty
Posted 07:58 – Road surface temperatures are below zero this morning with a mixture of dry and damp roads on primary routes with some grey frost reported on higher ground and sheltered areas. No issues to report.
Skye and Raasay
Posted 08:36 – The area has positive road surface temperatures this morning. No Issues.
Sutherland
Posted 08:50 - Mostly damp roads with frosty / icy patches on inland routes. All routes are being treated as instructed. No known overnight issues.
Wester Ross
Posted 05:24 - Road surface temperatures below zero throughout the night with frost. No overnight issues with rain and temperatures rising this morning.
