Hogmanay temporary closure of Infirmary Bridge, Inverness

In the interest of public safety, The Highland Council is advising people that the Infirmary Bridge in Inverness will be temporarily closed for Hogmanay celebrations.

People attending the Inverness Red Hot Highland Fling event are being advised that the Infirmary Bridge (footbridge) over the River Ness will be closed to all from 7pm on Saturday 31 December to 2am on Sunday 1 January.

The Red Hot Highland Fling is being organised by High Life Highland on behalf of Highland Council’s Inverness Events and Festivals Working Group which is financially supported by the Inverness Common Good Fund.

Organisers are reminding those intending to come along that it is a ticket-only event and all the free-tickets available have already been snapped up. 

The event officially starts at 8.30pm, with gates opening an hour before and will run through until 12.30am on 1st January 2023.
