Your views on Public Transport in Lochaber - still time to take part

The Highland Council is reminding anyone living in Lochaber that there is still time to pass on their views about public transport issues and their suggestions on what could be improved.

With funding from The Scottish Government, the Council is undertaking a transport study within the Lochaber area, focusing on travel by public transport.

The Council hosted five drop-in events at the end of last year to get feedback from the public but if anyone missed these opportunities, they are being encouraged to pass on their suggestions and opinions via an on-line consultation that runs until Monday 6 February.

The key aims and outcomes of the study is to:

  • Afford significant priority to buses over other forms of motorised transport
  • Improve the punctuality and reliability of bus services
  • Aid in increasing bus patronage

The on-line survey takes 5 minutes to complete, and all responses will help to shape how public transport develops in Lochaber over the coming years.
