Corran Ferry service update – Tuesday 15 August at 16:00hrs

The work to repair the fault on the MV Maid of Glencoul continues this afternoon (Tuesday 15 August) and remains out of service. Engineers are working to resolve the fault as a matter of urgency.

A temporary passenger service from Ardgour to Fort William began operating at 15:00hrs today until further notice.

Alternative road routes around the Loch have recently been improved with additional signage and expanded passing places.

The free shuttle bus service to and from Camusnagaul and the enhanced timetable of the Camusnagaul to Fort William passenger ferry will continue.

The Council will provide updates as we receive information from the engineers and we encourage people to follow @CorranFerry on Twitter/X for service updates.

We appreciate this is a frustrating setback for everyone concerned and we are doing our best to restore the service as soon as possible. We would like to thank the local communities for their understanding at this challenging time.
