Highland Council has been informed of a landslide at Drimnin on the B849.

A landslide has led to the collapse of the road edge strengthening rocks and taken the post wire fence with it.

Roads operatives are en route to the scene at this time to establish if the route is capable of taking HGV traffic, which is known to use the road regularly.

Once operatives arrive they will assess whether or not the road is structurally safe for traffic and take a decision on whether or not a road closure is necessary.
