‘Yes’ vote for Visit Inverness Loch Ness Tourism Business Improvement District

Those eligible to vote in the geographical area have voted ‘yes’ to renew the Visit Loch Ness Tourism Business Improvement District (BID) for a further period of 5 years from 1 April 2024 until 31 March 2029.

Ballot papers for the BID ballot were sent to eligible voters on Thursday 25 January 2024 and the businesses had the opportunity to cast their vote for the past seven weeks.

The counting of votes was held today Monday 18 March 2024 and the ‘yes’ result is published on the council’s website www.highland.gov.uk/tourismbid by the Ballot Holder and independent scrutineer, for the CIVICA Electoral Services.
