North and South Planning Applications Committees (18/19 February) cancelled

The joint meeting of North and South Planning Applications Committees on 18 and 19 February is cancelled.

This meeting was scheduled for determination of the Spittal – Beauly overhead line s37 application. 

However, following the submission of the Council’s holding objection, and the objection of other statutory consultees, further environmental information and / or additional information has been requested from the applicant. 

As such, it would be premature for the Planning Service to report the application to the committees whilst such information is pending. 

Meantime, the Council’s objection to the application remains in place with the Energy Consents Unit.
