One-way System Introduced at River Side, Inverness

From Monday 18 August,  a traffic order comes into effect in Inverness which introduces, on a permanent basis, a one-way system at Ness Walk, Ardross Terrace  and Little Kenneth Street.

One way traffic on Ness Walk will see traffic restricted to movement from north to south ie from Ness Bridge to the Cathedral.

Ardross Terrace will be one-way – north to south – from its junction with the extended eastern kerbline of Bishops Road northwards to its termination at Ness Walk.

Little Kenneth Street will be one-way from south to north ie traffic movement towards Tomnahurich Street – from its junction with Ardross Place northwards to its junction with Tomnahurich Street.

The order was promoted to improve traffic movement in this western part of the city. It has been the subject of extensive consultation.
