HMIe Report on St Clement’s School, Dingwall

In a recent HMIe report on St Clement’s School, Dingwall, a range of strengths were identified.  The school was commended for:

• Children and young people’s increasing involvement in their own learning
• The work of the Head Teacher and staff in improving the school’s performance
• Sharing of effective teaching practice which is helping to improve children and young people’s learning
• Strong partnerships with parents, agencies and the community to support learning

Commenting on the report Mrs Maureen Mackenzie, Head Teacher, said: “All staff and pupils have worked extremely hard and are delighted with the report.”

Mr Michael Hicks, chairperson of the School Board, said: “The Parent Council is pleased to see that the HMI has acknowledged the commitment and hard work of the staff and pupils at St Clement’s.”
