Bellfield Park Serves up a Tennis Treat

Aspiring Andy Murrays will be given the chance to try out their tennis skills when Bellfield Park in Inverness hosts The Highland Council’s Active Mini Tennis Week from Monday 4th to Friday 8th August.

The Active Mini Tennis Week is part of the Active Schools Summer Programme and tennis coach David Gibson will lead the sessions. 

The first session is for 5-8 year olds from 1.30-2.30pm and costs £15 for the week.  The second session is for 8-12 year olds from 2.30-4pm and costs £20 for the week.  There are still spaces left and bookings should be made through the Town House in Inverness on 01463 724224 or the James Cameron Community Centre on 01463 718773.

There are also a variety of other activities on offer through the Community Learning & Leisure Summer Programme for both primary and secondary aged pupils.  Activities available through Charleston Academy Community Complex include Active Cheer and Dance, Basketball, Capoeira, Mountain Biking and Mini Grand Prix Go Karting to name but a few.  Details of these activities can be found on www.highlandactivities.org.uk or by contacting your local community centre.
