Temporary Road Closures During Inverness Highland Games

From Friday 18 until Monday 21 July, temporary road closures will be in place in the city to ensure public safety before, during and after the Inverness Highland Games.

The temporary closures will affect sections of Bught Road and Ness Walk between the junction with Bught Avenue and the junction with Ballifeary Lane.  They will come into force at 8am of Friday 18 July until 8am on Monday 21.

Barriers will be in place and signs erected giving details of alternative routes for car drivers using part of Ness Walk, Bishops Road, Ballifeary Road, Ballifeary Lane, part of Bught Road, Bught Avenue, Bught Drive and Glenurquhart Road.

These closures only affect vehicle drivers.  Access for pedestrians, emergency vehicles and local access to residential homes and riverside properties will be maintained.
