Council Delays Caithness Gaelic Meeting

Leugh sa Ghàidhlig

The Highland Council has agreed to delay the date of a meeting in Caithness to discuss the Council’s Gaelic Language Plan.

This follows discussions with Bord na Gaidhlig at which Caithness councillors asked for a postponement to allow the Council more time to resolve outstanding issues.

Those attending the meeting included a delegation from the Bord, led by chairman Arthur Cormack, the leadership of the Council, including Convener Sandy Park and Leader Michael Foxley, and six of the Council’s 10 Caithness members.
