Interim arrangements for Mallaig Primary School pupils

The Highland Council has made interim arrangements to house pupils at Mallaig Primary School, which has been damaged by last week’s storms.

From tomorrow (Wednesday), Primary 4-7 pupils will be taught at Mallaig High School while Primary 1-3 pupils will be taught at Mallaig Church Hall.

Mallaig Primary School continues to have significant problems following the storm last Thursday.  The school roof lost a large number of tiles and part of the internal ceiling collapsed.

The Council is repairing the damage and aiming to minimise the period of disruption.
