New Head for Alvie Primary

Kip Clark has been appointed to the post of Head Teacher at Alvie Primary School.

Currently a Principal Teacher at Inshes Primary School, Kip’s first teaching post was at Raigmore Primary School.  She then moved to the Early Education Office at Clachnaharry to work as a Development Officer.  Four years ago, before the Inshes school opened, Kip was appointed as a Principal Teacher and in this role helped to set up the infant classes of the new school.
The current Head Teacher at Alvie, Hilary Brown, retires at the end of term and Kip will take over the role at the start of the next session.

Kip, who lives in Carrbridge, said:  “I am very excited and really looking forward to building on the good leadership Hilary has provided at the school.”
