Employers and businesses working in partnership with schools play a crucial role in preparing our pupils for the world of work and their future careers.”

He added: “We have been recognising the important input employers and businesses make to education by hosting a series of nine events throughout the Highlands over the past few months. These events support the national enterprise agenda which has, as a main theme engaging employers.”

Business that support pupils at Kilchuimen, Charleston, Inverness Royal, Nairn and Culloden Academies; Glen Urquhart, Millburn and Inverness High Schools and their feeder primary schools; Drummond School and The Bridge will be recognised.
