Drop-in days to find out more about A82 rock operation

Forestry Commission Scotland is holding two ‘drop-in’ days next week to give people a chance to find out more about the operation to remove the rock over the A82, to the south of Fort William.

As well as having the opportunity to talk to staff from the Commission and from Transport Scotland about the works, visitors will have the chance to look at display boards and to discuss the longer-term programme of work for the Glen Righ section of the A82.

A hand-out carrying key information will also be available, as will information about the contractors who have been involved in the operation – Coffey Geotechnic and Geo-rope.
