Inverness Cat Rescue Service step in to look after Stig of the Dump

Stig of the Dump, the cat befriended by workers at The Highland Council's recycling centre at Henderson Drive, Inverness, is in line for a new home.

Inverness Cat Rescue Service kindly offered to look after the aging cat and find him a new home after learning of his recent injury which required treatment from a vet.

Over the past few years, Recycling Centre workers have looked after the cat but they recognise his future welfare is best met by being re-homed.

Recently the aging cat had required treatment from the vet, which had incurred a bill of £53. This bill is being met by an anonymous benefactor.
