Fusion nights are back

This Saturday, 1st October 2011, will see the start of the winter 2011/2012 ‘Fusion’ nights at Charleston Community Complex. ‘Fusion’ offers young people aged 12- 25 the opportunity to take part in a variety of fun activities monthly on a Saturday night. The nights have proven very popular amongst the young people in the area and are back due to popular demand.

Funding has been granted by Councillors Pauline Munro, Alasdair Christie and Alex Graham from the Inverness West ward discretionary budget.  They said:  “We are very pleased to provide funds to enable our young people to take part in such enjoyable, positive activities”.

This year will see a variety of activities including an outdoor climbing wall, nail art, laser tag, archery, arts and crafts, various sports and lots more.

Nikki Rasdale, Youth Development Officer, said: “It is very exciting that we have the opportunity to run ‘Fusion’ nights again this year. We have got lots of great free activities for the young people to get involved in and I am looking forward to seeing lots of new faces attending the nights.”

Fusion will run on the last Saturday of each month, apart from December, from 7.30pm – 9.30pm in the Charleston Community Complex. All 12-25 year olds are welcome to come along.
