Road condition and gritting treatment reports by The Highland Council’s, Transport, Environmental and Community Services for the morning of Monday 24 December 2012 are as follows:

South Sutherland and East Ross 
U2126 Rosehall to Inveroykel (minor link-road) re-opened at 11am. Posted: 24/12/2012 11:33

Ross and Cromarty
All routes in west put on hold, except the Fain and Gorstan - Achnasheen which were checked with no problems. Most main and high routes checked in east but although low temps there were no problems. Posted: 24/12/2012 09:53

Caithness and North Sutherland

Nairn
Grey frost patches on high ground. Treating priority 1 and 2 high routes.

Grey frost patches particularly in the north of the area. Treating priority 1 and 2 routes and some priority 3's in the North. Posted: 24/12/2012 08:48

Inverness 
Road surface temperatures low on all roads. Patrolling priority 1's and 2's with loaded gritters. Posted: 24/12/2012 06:12

Skye and Lochalsh
