New head teacher appointed

The Highland Council has appointed a new Head Teacher at Holm Primary School, Inverness. She is Mrs Margaret Matheson, who has been Head Teacher at Beauly Primary School since December 2006.

Mrs Matheson was previously Acting Head Teacher at Beauly Primary School since August 2006 and prior to then was Acting Head Teacher at Smithton Primary School, Inverness.

She will succeed Mrs Margaret Hay who is the current Head Teacher at Holm Primary who retires at the end of this session.
