Move of Alness Service Point to Alness Library

Alness Service Point, currently located at 3/5 Obsdale Road is to close at 4pm on Thursday (29 March) in readiness for a move to Alness Library, Averon Centre, Alness and reopening there at 9am on Monday 2 April. The same services currently provided from the Service Point at Obsdale Road will also be available in the new location. 

The move to the library is to provide greater access to services for the local community. By sharing buildings with the library service operated by HighLife Highland, this enables more services to be provided in the one location. It also helps reduce costs in the current economic climate.

 Alness library opening hours will now be as follows:

Monday
9am – 6pm      Closed 12:30pm – 1:30pm for lunch

Tuesday
9am – 6pm      Closed 12:30pm – 1:30pm for lunch

Wednesday
9am – 5pm      Closed 12:30pm – 1:30pm for lunch

Thursday
9am – 7:30pm  Closed 12:30pm – 1:30pm for lunch

Friday
9am – 6pm      Closed 12:30pm – 1:30pm for lunch

Saturday
10:30am – 1:30pm
