Highland Council winter road condition reports for 19 February 2013.

Road condition and gritting treatment reports by The Highland Council’s, Transport, Environmental and Community Services for the morning of day 19 February 2013 are as follows:

Caithness and North sutherland
Mix of dry and damp roads in both areas, icy patches and white frosts reported, treated by priority. No problems reported. Posted: 19/02/2013 09:11

South Sutherland and East Ross 
All routes patrolled by policy and procedure. No known issues. Routes reporting mostly dry with the odd sparkle/icy patch. Posted: 19/02/2013 08:51

Mid and West Ross
Some ice / frost patches but generally routes are dry with no reported problems.

Skye and Lochalsh
Occasional frost patches, generally on new surfacing, which have been treated. Otherwise roads dry and no problems. Posted: 19/02/2013 07:42

Lochaber, Badenoch and Strathspey, Inverness and Nairn
No problems reported.
