Road condition and gritting treatment reports by The Highland Council’s, Transport, Environmental and Community Services for the morning of Thursday 24 January 2013 are as follows:

Badenoch and Strathspey 
No overnight snow. Frost patches on main road. Some slush on side roads. All roads and footways treated by priority. Posted: 24/01/2013 10:32

Skye and Lochalsh

Lochaber

Caithness and North sutherland
Caithness - dusting snow on east coast routes. Other routes white frosts. Treatment also ongoing by priority. No problems reported. North Sutherland Kinlochbervie area clear. Tongue - Strathy area frosty roads. Hard packed on the B873 Altnaharra - Bettyhill road. Treatment on going by priority. Posted: 24/01/2013 09:07

South Sutherland and East Ross
