CSI: Highland Wildlife

The Highland Council Countryside Rangers are inviting budding animal detectives to join them in searching for clues and gathering evidence to solve Wildlife CSI mysteries at Culag Woods, Assynt within the North West Highlands Geopark this Thursday (18 July).

This is a family adventure for animal enthusiasts and budding detectives alike. It runs from 11am to 1pm this Thursday. The Rangers ask that all children are accompanied by an adult.

Andy Summers, Senior Countryside Ranger, Highland Council Planning and Development Service said: “This is a brilliant event to be a part of. Participants will investigate several crime scenes in the countryside to work out what the crime was, and who committed it. It’s great fun, but also educational.”

Please wear appropriate clothing and phone the local rangers Andy Summers and Roz Summers to book and confirm places with fellow Crime Scheme Investigators. There is a cost of £3 for adults and £2 for children/concessions.
