Road condition and gritting treatment reports by The Highland Council’s, Transport, Environmental and Community Services for the morning of Thursday, 21 November 2013 are as follows:

Caithness and North Sutherland
Some sleety showers early today but drying out now, No known problems. Posted: 10:04

Inverness
No problems this morning, roads drying out. Posted: 09:23

Ross and Cromarty
Roads generally dry. Some light snow on high ground in west. Odd icy/frost patch throughout the area. East mainly dry with odd patch of frost. Posted: 08:50

Nairn
Roads dry, damper on high ground. Treated higher part of A939 and B9007.

Badenoch and Strathspey
Routes are mostly damp with icy patches with some frozen slush and snow on the highest routes. Posted: 08:04

Skye and Lochalsh
Road surface temperatures milder than forecast, but still around or below zero. Some light slushy deposits reported mainly along western Skye otherwise no reported problems. Continuing treatment to complete primary and secondary routes followed by higher other routes. Posted: 07:17
