Early Years and Home Care on agenda for Caithness District Partnership

 

The Caithness District Partnership meets in Thurso on Friday 27 June and will feature updates on Early Years Practitioners and the Caithness Family Team by the areas Children’s Services Manager. The meeting will also feature updates from Bob Silverwood, NHS Area Community Care Manager - North, on the Redesign Reference Group work and Home Care.

The Scottish Ambulance Service will deliver a presentation on their joint working with local agencies in respect of telecare services, emergency responders and falls pathway.

Development staff will be present to update members of the partnership on the work they are doing under the reshaping care for older adults (RCOP) initiative and associated work to support communities in the re-design and development of services and activities which respond to local needs.   

The Partnership meeting takes place at 10.00 am in Naver House, Naver Road, Thurso and will be the third of four partnership meetings to be held in 2014.  

The public are more than welcome to observe the meeting and will be invited by the Partnership Chair, Councillor Bill Fernie, to comment on the items discussed at the end of each section of the agenda.
